Hi! I’m Nina Rapilane, and I’m the owner of NinaRapilane.com.

 

For the website to run smoothly, I installed a few tools that collect data about your activity while browsing it.

 

These tools are:

  • Google Analytics
  • Google Search Console
  • Monster Insights
  • Rank Math

Don’t worry, though. The collected data does not personally or directly identify you in any way. Plus, I’m the only person who sees this data.

 

Why do I do it? To figure out if you find my content useful and what to do to make it even better for you.

 

If you’re not happy with Google Analytics collecting your data, then you can install and activate Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Too easy!

SENDING EMAILS 

When you fill up a quiz, download an e-guide from my website, or sign up to receive other e-materials or promotional emails, your personal data (name, email address) is transferred to an email marketing tool.

 

I use MailerLite, a tool committed to the requirements and principles of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR compliant). You can read more about how they protect your data on their website.

 

For creating quizzes, I use Interact. Interact doesn’t have access to your data and will not contact you in any way.

 

I exclusively use your data to send you tips, tricks, and other useful information about email marketing, building sales funnels, and selling online courses, as well as promotional offers and offers from my partners.

 

You can unsubscribe from receiving these emails at any time by clicking the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of each email. Alternatively, you can simply reply to my email and state that you no longer wish to receive my emails.

WORKING WITH ME 

When you sign up for working with me through the registration form or when we agree to work on your project, I collect your name, email address, telephone number, information about your company, and other data that you voluntarily provide to fulfill my obligations imposed by legislation or agreed upon in our collaboration agreement. (Ugh, that was a mouthful.)

 

I use Calendly for scheduling our calls. You can read their Privacy Policy here. 

STORAGE OF PERSONAL DATA 

I keep the personal data obtained based on your consent until you revoke it.

 

I retain invoice data for 10 years from the date of issuance.

 

Data obtained to fulfill obligations arising from a concluded contract are retained for 5 years after the contract is fulfilled.

 

Upon the expiration of the storage period, personal data is permanently and effectively deleted or anonymized, so that they no longer retain the character of personal data.

 

 

ACCESS TO PERSONAL DATA 

Only I and third parties with whom I have concluded a data processing agreement (contractual data processors) have access to your personal data.

 

Contractual data processors perform the service of personal data processing following the provisions of the contract concluded between me and them.

 

 

RIGHTS RELATED TO YOUR PERSONAL DATA 

At any time, you can request that I:

  • inform you whether I process your personal data
  • provide information about the personal data I process
  • state the purpose of personal data processing
  • disclose the recipients of these personal data
  • indicate the storage period of personal data, and 
  • obtain a copy of your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format.

You can also request correction of inaccurate data and restriction of processing when:

  • you dispute the accuracy of the data for a certain period necessary to verify their accuracy
  • the processing is unlawful, but you do not request the erasure of the data
  • the only restriction of their processing
  • I no longer need personal data, but you need them to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. 

Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you can request the erasure of all your personal data.

 

 

EXERCISING YOUR RIGHTS 

You can address your requests regarding personal data to nina(a)ninarapilane.com or any other published contact information.

 

I may request proof of your identity for the provision of personal data.

 

I am obliged to respond to your request as soon as I become aware of it and obtain the necessary information, but no later than within 15 days from the receipt of your request.
